Tragedia Endogonidia New

In twenty years of unceasing exploration, Societas Raffaello Sanzio has given shape to a new theatrical language drawn from visual art, science, technology, sound and science fiction. In their two previous visits to the Festival (Giulio Cesare 1998 and Genesi 2000) they caused a sensation with a form of theatre that caused astonishment, wonder and shock in equal measure.

Tragedia Endogonidia is a research project on the future of tragedy, which has been carried out over the past three years in ten European cities. From stage to stage, the project grew, constantly moving, evolving and changing like a living organism. In each place, the idea of tragedy is sown. Calling on everyone to awaken and to dream, Romeo Castellucci's visionary, erudite and sublime wanderings will leave no-one unmoved.
