The Librarians Fantasy

In the depths of a basement, a forgotten librarian sits alone and conjures a world which he can control. Characters from his precious books emerge in miniature form out of his desk and play out phantom images of how the world might have been created.

Aberrations du Documentaliste is an exquisite theatrical miniature, only 45 minutes long and performed for 38 spectators at a time in the intimate surroundings of the Bank of Ireland Arts Centre. Distinguished classical actor Jacques Fornier plays the librarian and leading international puppeteers, Ezéchiel Garcia-Romeu and François Tomsu, bring his fantasy world to life.

Book early to reserve your place at the production that was one of the unexpected sensations of the Avignon Festival in 1999.

Performed in French.
