The Lost Days of Ollie Deasy

Macnas' latest show is a truly epic concoction: part play, part parade, part All-Ireland hurling final. Imagine yourself standing, with 500 other audience members, in the centre of the magnificently restored Round Room at the Mansion House. Suddenly fields and pubs begin to whizz by, and we find ourselves on a wild journey through a strange yet familiar world.

We join young Terry Deasy in a treacherous, epic search for his father Ollie, a great hurling hero who has mysteriously gone missing. And because it's Macnas leading the charge, the journey is sure to be a wild and unpredictable one.

This is a Festival show par excellence - a kind of theatre unlike anything you've seen before. Come early, wear comfortable shoes, leave your preconceptions at the door - and have fun!
