For over 100 years, Monto, in Dublin’s north inner city, was the most notorious red light district in Europe. Presided over by infamous madams and fortune tellers, lost strangers sought sex, guidance and the divine.

World’s End Lane is an adrenaline fuelled exchange created for just three audience members at a time. Each audience member is invited to surrender to their own Monto experience in this immersive, challenging and interactive journey.

Nominated for Best Production at The Irish Times Irish Theatre Awards and winner of Best Off Site Production at the 2010 Absolut Fringe, World’s End Lane is the first of a four part investigation of the Monto area. Alongside this revival, the Festival is delighted to première the second part of the quartet Laundry.

World’s End Lane is presented in association with the LAB. ANU Productions is in Six in the Attic – An Irish Theatre Institute resource sharing initiative.
