No attempt to capture the diversity of world theatre would be complete without reference to Children's theatre. From the US to Africa, directors and writers of Children's theatre have created some of the most striking and innovative productions of recent years.

Since 1995 the eircom Dublin Theatre Festival and The Ark have recognised this in a season of work which has provided Irish children with a multiplicity of theatrical experiences that stretch across many different cultures. For the 2001 Festival we are delighted to present four international shows for a variety of ages.

This show is an evocative, intimate and ultimately moving vision of two female soldiers at war.

"Magnificent soundscape, incredible gestures, a back-pack and a broomstick..."
