A highly original piece of theatre which recreates the world of Karl Valentin and Liesl Karlstadt whose comic vignettes, entirely ridiculous songs and uniquely absurd view of life made them Germany's most popular entertainers until they were banned by the Nazis in 1940. Shades of Lewis Carroll, echoes of lonesco, fascinating and strangely moving.
