An outrageous and richly comic tale of a repressed young widow, her rampant lover, a grasping merchant and his doting wife. Inspired by the short stories of Bertolt Brecht, the show is filed with music by Verdi, Mozart, Rossini, Saint-Saens, Monteverdi and Strauss.

"...a sensuous feast of music, wit and outrageously inventve naughtiness". EVENING TIMES, GLASGOW "If you like opera, but have harboured thoughts that it is too pompous for its own good the Opera Circus is for you... highly energetic, mildly scurrilous and extremely funny". THE SCOTSMAN "An animal free display of vocal pyrotechnics and raw physical energy". WHAT'S ON IN LONDON
