Early one morning three women come to hang out their washing on a washing line and wait for it to dry. What starts out as a normal washing day becomes a memorable trip into a world of absurdity and eccentricity. Brouhaha skilfully juggle reality and fantasy and turn the boring task of waiting for the washing to dry into an exciting waiting game. What exactly are they waiting for? And do they really want their washing to dry? Time passes, the weather becomes erratic, sending the three characters into disarray. Combining the banal and the poetic, the comic and the tragic to create a surprising show performed in their own unique clownesque style.

Brouhaha are Greta Stoddart, Alison Cologna and Catherine Marmier. they met and trained at Ecole Jacques Lecoq in Paris: 1988-1990. In 1991 they formed Brouhaha and created their first show Fish Soup which has since toured in England, Switerland, France and Ireland.
