Two thirty-somethings, aimless and unemployed, their heads full of notions of grandeur and glamour, get work as extras on a big American movie being shot on the West coast of Ireland. Suddenly close to the world they idealise, they are forced to look at their own dreams again and wonder show really controls that most private part of ourselves.

Stones in His Pockets is a biting and urgent play that begs the question of who's creating out hopes and ideas of how the future should look.

Conleth Hill and Tim Murphy star as Charlie and Jake as well as a whole host of other characters who impinge on their lives and imaginations in Marie Jone's new play.

Conleth Hill is well known to TV viewers from Frank Skinner's Blue Heaven on Channel Four, as Nocalls-Tommy in the current Smithwicks ads and recently in the BBC's Out of the Deep Pan. He has appeared in two previous DubbelJoint shows as the schoolmaster in The Government Inspector and as Puck in Eddie Bottom's Dream. Tim Murphy is particularily well known to TV audiences as Conor in RTÉ's Glenroe and recently played Hans in Eddie Bottom's Dream
