As the Second World War rages in Europe, there is another war closer to home in Donegal: In Dolly West's kitchen her family has its own conflicts to face. War changes everything - and the arrival of the Allied troops in Derry changes everything for Dolly and her family in this compelling new play by one of Ireland's greatest playwrights.

Frank McGuinness' plays include The Factory Girls, Observe the Sons of Ulster Marching Towards the Somme, Baglady, Catharginians, and The Bird Sanctuary, which premiered in the Abbey Theatre in 1994. He was nominated for a 1999 Tony Award for this adapatation of Electra, which played on Broadway earlier this year.
