The Winters Tale
Propeller visits the Dublin Theatre Festival with one of the most haunting, passionate and profound of Shakespeare's plays. A man consumed by an inexplicable jealousy destroys everything around him; his family, his kingdom and himself. Wracked by guilt, he sets off a chain reaction of events leading to a miraculous ending and the chance for reconciliation.

Featuring live song and music created by the company, this universally-acclaimed production is strikingly fresh, beautifully spoken and visually exciting.

Propeller is the UK's only all-male ensemble theatre company and, with director Edward Hall, continually succeed in making Shakespeare fresh for all its audiences. They are well known for their critically-acclaimed productions of Rose Rage and A Midsummer Night's Dream, both of which wowed audiences in the UK and internationally, winning the TMA Best Touring Production Award.

This is a wonderful opportunity to see this extraordinary production before its American première at the prestigious Brooklyn Academy in New York.

“A joy to behold!… Propeller's collective ingenuity makes this an evening that delights the heart as much as it stimulates the mind”
The Telegraph

“Unreservedly recommended”
