Blaithin Sheerin

Blaithin trained at NCAD and and Motley Theatre Design Course, London. Previous designs for Fishamble include From Both Hips and True Believers. Designs at the Abbey and Peacock include The Dandy Dolls/Riders to the Sea/Purgatory, Portia Coughlan, Drama at Inish, Bailegangaire, The Sanctuary Lamp, The Morning After Optimism, Made in China, As the Beast Sleeps, Eden, Savoy, The Drawer Boy, and On Such As We.  Designs for Rough Magic include Olga, Midden, The Whisperers, The School for Scandal, Northern Star and Digging for Fire. For the Gate Theatre Blaithin has designed the core set for the Beckett Festival in New York, Aristocrats and You Never Can Tell. Other design includes The Comedy of Errors (RSC), The Importance of Being Earnest (The Yorkshire Playhouse), Our Father (Almeida Theatre), Honour (b*spoke theatre), The Cavalcaders and Juno and the Paycock (Lyric Theatre). She has also worked with Druid, Charabanc, Prime Cut and Galloglass.
