Sigalit Feig

Sigalit Feig was born in Israel and has lived in Berlin since 1981. She joined the Stage School in Hamburg, where she studied voice, drama and dance.

After her fist engagements at the Turkish Theater in Hamburg and the Staatstheater Bremen, she moved to Prague where she became a member of the Women's Vocal Choir BOGORO under the musical direction of Gypsy singer Ida Kelarova whose ethnic roots influenced her repertoire and musical choices.

New engagements took Sigalit back to Germany. She undertook the role of Quee Quag in Moby Dick in the city of Darmstadt, as well as the role of Nr.9 in the critically acclaimed Sekretarinnen in Berlin, Cologne, and Munich. Other roles include Chaja in the touring production of Joshua Sobol's Ghetto, and Frenchie in The Life in Kassel's Staatstheater.  She then decided to set her sights on the stages of Austria. This included performing in the musical Hair in Vienna, and the Acid Queen in the Who's world renowned musical Tommy in Amstetten.

Sigalit was last seen as one of the ten women performing in the new Productin Tenoritas; an evening of song and dance spanning the musical spectrum of opera, jazz, musical theater and popular music. The production toured in Berlin, Hamburg, and various other cities in Germany and Austria.
