Conor Lovett

Conor trained at Ecole Jacques Lecoq in Paris.  His work with Gare St Lazare Players on Samuel Beckett has gained him a reputation as one of the foremost Beckett interpreters.  He has performed in 16 different Beckett productions internationally.

Conor has worked in devised theatre with The Clod Ensemble and Lee Andrea Companies in London, comedy with David Murray, Performance Art collaborations with Paul Craig; and he has given Masterclasses in solo performance in France, Germany and Ireland. 

Theatre roles include Ferdinand in The Duchess of Malfi, Joey in The Homecoming, Army in Requiem for a Heavyweight, Les in Bouncers, The Torturer in The Possibilities, Gus in The Dumb Waiter, Orpheus in Orpheus and Michael in The Three Legged Fool. 

He co-produced and starred in Shut Eye, a short film written and directed by Jon Tompkins.  Other screen appearances include Father Ted, Intermission, Moll Flanders, L'Entente Cordiale and The Kings of Cork City.

In 2006 director Judy Hegarty Lovett and Conor will co-produce the Beckett Radio Plays for RTE.
